Thuya
Thuya is a genus of evergreen coniferous tree in the cypress family indigenous to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. It is a small, slow-growing tree, often with two or more trunks from the base. It is a hard wood and heavy with an aromatic smell, and works well with tools - polishing to a very fine luster.
Our range has been developed over many years, each item is handcrafted from the root of the Thuya tree in Morrocco, by small groups of artisans.
